Ken Schultz Memorial Award

Emblematic of an individual’s commitment, service, and perseverance in the promotion and growth of the game of baseball within a franchised area of the North Central Alberta Baseball League.

Eligibility is limited to anyone who is not a currently active player and who has distinguished himself/herself as a builder, promoter, umpire, or administrator.

Nominations are received annually prior to August 1st and must be accompanied by a detailed account or history of that individual’s contributions in one or more of the specified areas over an extended period of time.

Winners shall be chosen by a Committee appointed annually by the Commissioner of the NCABL. Said Committee may include a member or appointee of the sponsoring family.

The Ken Schultz Memorial Award was first presented in 1993 and is recognized by the NCABL as its most prestigious award. Recipients, honoured in the Hall of Fame, are respectfully given the title “Pillars of the NCABL”.
