Ryan Poeter drove in five runs on five hits to lead Parkland Twins past Edmonton Angels 22-4 on Friday at Henry Singer. Poeter singled in the second scoring two, doubled in the fourth scoring two, singled in the third scoring one, and singled in the fifth scoring one.

Parkland Twins got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Clark Spencer was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Mike Cassidy singled, scoring one run, Ben Poeter singled, scoring one run, Brett Barron was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Porter singled, scoring two runs, Vaughn Rempel doubled, scoring two runs, and Hayden Rake singled, scoring one run.

Parkland Twins scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the third inning. Poeter singled, scoring one run, Mike McFayden singled, scoring one run, Porter singled, scoring one run, and Rake doubled, scoring two runs.

Kyle Prather earned the win for Parkland Twins. The hurler allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking one. Zack Snow took the loss for Edmonton Angels. The right-handed pitcher went one inning, surrendering nine runs on six hits, striking out none and walking one

Parkland Twins amassed 18 hits in the game. Rake, McFayden, Poeter, and Brandon Ryan each collected multiple hits for Parkland Twins. Poeter stole two bases.

Snow went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Edmonton Angels in hits.
